I had a two year tenancy with Newton King in Taunton. During that time communication was great, with a rapid response to emails and sorting any issues immediately. Staff were always polite, responsive and accommodating.

I've recently moved in to a property through Newton King and every member of staff I dealt with was really friendly and the communication throughout was excellent. It is the most at ease I have felt when moving as they kept in constant contact with every update and answered any questions promptly. Excellent team!

Newton King in Taunton are a great company to deal with. We recently installed a wood burning stove for them. They were extremely responsive, professional and proactive. This made our installation a real pleasure. Having dealt with many estate agents over the years, Newton King are certainly one of the best.

With many uncertainties and moving targets thrown in my way following the sale of my house during lockdown, I have had to look for rental very quickly. I have tried so many letting agents and been rather let down by most of them. As I have never rented before, I found the whole experience very stressful. Just when I was at my wits end, Newton King showed great professionalism and empathy; and helped find a place for me at speed. Their Lettings Manager Josh and his team have been brilliant. Deposit has not been returned left the property mid July. Various excuses given when emailing and phoned them. Will be taking court action Monday against the landlord but the management agency are to blame.

We phoned Newton King to report that the water from the shower upstairs was dripping down the kitchen wall, at the house we were renting . Within an hour the plumber arrived at the house and sorted the problem. We were very impressed with the response.
I have had my property managed with Newton King for just over 3 years now, after having a nightmare with another local agent. I decided to take them up on their initial 6 months free management offer and the service I have received since has been outstanding. A big thank you to Eddie and the team who are always easy to communicate with and provide me with thorough updates of how my property is being treated. I will now be having Newton King manage my second property which I have just purchased.
group of liars totally avoid, they know the house has an issue with moving date but insist to proceed with reference just to waste our time ended with wasting huge amount of money in hotels. never trust them

This what happened to me with Newton King
After we completed the referencing and I paid the rent for the first month .They changed the move-in date ,which we agreed before we start , to unknown date as I have to wait for the current tenant to confirm when he will move out . Simply , they put me back to open waiting time after they wasted two weeks from my precious time !!!!!!. . Have to take my money and run form them .

I had agreed a sale for my property when the dreaded COVID-19 ground to a halt and that affected the agreement for a tenancy being managed by Newton King at my new abode. I had to shield and so was grounded for several months. The purchaser of my property and the landlord/Newton King agreed to restart my sale/contract for tenancy until 20th June. My move was physically completed on 23rd June (dreadfully hot temperatures at that time - phew!) My thanks to all concerned for easing my worries during this time. Such good customer service.
My previous landlord switched to Newton King a few months ago and they have been incredibly helpful, professional and organised since. They've responded quickly to queries, dealt with any maintenance issues rapidly and have assisted my recent move with the upmost professionalism and support. It's encouraging to meet a team of wonderful, kind staff at this branch and I'm very grateful for all they've done over the past few months. I have contacted this estate agents by telephone twice to ask about a property they have for rent and also submitted an online request for a viewing. Nobody has bothered to contact me back about it. I have been polite and courteous and now I just feel annoyed enough to leave a bad review! I have to say very disappointing and totally disagree with the 5 star rating they have. I guess they do not want my business and they don't even know anything about me. A courtesy call wouldn't have gone a miss, I appreciate tenants are often treated differently than those buying a property (because they make less money than sales maybe!) Maybe the property that still shows as available has gone, I guess I will never know. I will add that the reason I rated it as 2 stars is because the lady I spoke to yesterday was lovely and very apologetic and reassured me that is not the standard of service they usually provide. I believe she is most likely good to her word that she passed the message on, unfortunately he (the guy who deals with lettings) still hasn't called after 3 attempts and she can't be held responsible for this guy that is ignoring messages, so we'll take the £1500 per month we were quite able and prepared to pay and deal with an estate agent that wants our business. Sorry Newton King here is your bad review, maybe you should check if all of your staff are bothering to provide customer service, I understand that COVID has created issues, we have all been involved in this pandemic but surely a 5 minute phone call can be managed.
Couldn’t have asked for a more professional and efficient service. Highly recommended.
