Hi, I just wanted to inform you that a girl who works in your Leigh store in Tesco extra is literally one of the most rudest people I’ve ever spoken to in customer service. It’s quite clear how much she hates her job. I couldn’t see her name tag as her hair covered it but her hair in blonde/brown and she was working today Sunday 22nd December. She was very clearly voicing how she can’t stand people that shop last minute before Christmas and how she completes her Christmas shopping in October and that she doesn’t understand why people shop last minute. I’m not going to go into the thousands of reasons why people shop last minute but the negativity coming from her, personally made me feel uncomfortable.. and it filled me with dread to think of anyone in a vulnerable state was shopping today, how it would of made them feel.. it’s just no what you need to hear, especially at this time of year.. and especially in a store that sells products like photos etc.. they could be being purchased for someone whose family members are at end of life.. your products can be sentimental and this girl is just bad mouthing all your customers in front of their face! This wasn’t the first time.. Sometime last week or the week before I ordered some photos on the one hour service on your website to collect at leigh and I got there an hour and a half after I ordered them. She was rude then and told me she hadn’t done them because she was so busy .. however when I arrived she was on her own in the store, no customers and sat on her phone at the desk with my ticket for my photos on the unit behind her.. anyway we had a conversation and my photos got printed but it’s besides the point. I think she needs to be a bit more empathetic towards customers and learn to control her thoughts when at work.
