Have owned 3 honda's and have always had the same great service friendly attentive staff
Shocking customer service. Too rich to care?!
Me and my husband booked a test drive in advance. We turned up on time and spent over 30 min looking around the showroom without anyone even acknowledging us. There was no-one there to greet us and no sign of the person we had an appointment with. No-one offered to help.
Someone eventually did come up to us and we explained that we had an appointment 30 min ago. First, they accused us of not being there on time (which we were). Then they told us that apparently we hadn't confirmed the appointment (which we had) and they hadn't known if we'd show up. We were told to wait as that particular person was currently busy but they'd be with us as soon as possible. We were left alone again in the showroom. We decided to walk out. Funnily enough, somebody did come running after. They blamed us yet again for not answering their email and confirming the appointment.
Appointment aside though, just from a potential sales perspective, this is absolutely abysmal. Why would you ignore potential buyers...ever?
Long story short, our money was spent elsewhere.
Friday: Delivered my car for battery check at 8:15. One of the two Service receptionists confirmed they would update me mid-afternoon. No call received by 17:10; I rang the dealer & left a message. Service reception rang back: car not ready. Unexpected inconvenience as I was obliged to collect Saturday. No confirmation received on Saturday that it was done either! Car returned in immaculate condition which made up for the poor PR, on this occasion.
Came in to ask about second hand cars, a very kind lady told me there would be a 10 minute wait, sat down, read all of the internet and left after waiting for over 40 minutes. Still will get a Honda, not buy it here and service it somewhere else too, wonder why main dealers are suffering...
All satisfactory. Car collected and returned. Friendly staff. No surprises on the bill. Extra work necessary advised and costed in advance.
I bought a Honda Civic from this Honda branch in Reading in December 2009 and the car's reliability has been brilliant since the date of purchase. This Honda branch is not only a showroom where Honda cars are sold, but it is also a mechanical repair centre where MOT and annual service take place. I have always brought back my Honda Civic back here for MOT and annual service each year. The services are brilliant and I have always been happy with the services provided. This Honda branch has a modern office and showroom environment where you feel comfortable and happy to enter. If you are a Honda car owner, I advise you to bring your car here for annual service and MOT, because the mechanics here are very well qualified and they do the job well. If you want to buy a Honda car, I would strongly recommend that you come to this branch. At the same time, you can view all the new Honda models on display. This branch has a commercial and relaxing atmosphere where you have a feeling of comfort, trust and attraction towards the display of modern vehicles. THE MEMBER OF STAFF HERE, ARE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL AND YOU CAN TRUST THAT THEY PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Originally gave Honda 4* as it was good but I didn't buy. But even though I didn't end up buying the second hand civic I drove, it was probably the best "sales" experience I've had with buying a car. Staff were quick to ask whether we needed any help without us feeling like we were being pounced on as soon as we walked in. Jake after that was happy to show us in the cars and the test drive was great. No hard sale or pressure to buy (wouldn't have worked anyway) and had the car not sold by the time we called back the next day I probably would have taken it. Call the following week to see whether we still needed a car rather than first thing the next working day. All in all, the best purchase I didn't make
