Jardine Motors Group Mercedes-Benz Of Ipswich Reviews
Recently had my W205 C Class repaired here under warranty following an Adblue fault. Car was returned with towing eye cover still hanging free, boot trim piece (driver's side wiring loom access panel) not replaced and left loose in boot, luggage net not returned to as found state, and in a generally dirty condition. Won't be using again if at all possible, they appear to have very low standards.
Fantastic Service from everyone at the dealership from the receptionists through the sales team to aftersales and service - absolutely perfect.
I left BMW due to their terrible service and I haven't looked back. I dealt with George Wells (Sales Manager), Ian (Sales) and George Baker (handover) - all were perfect and went above an beyond for me. I have had three calls from Ian since asking how i'm getting on and if there is anything he could do.
Brilliant car, Brilliant experience. Thanks guys
I was disappointed with the service from Jardine. Although undoubtedly friendly, the garage did not handle my request to investigate a problem well. They first tried to suggest that it might be not be a problem and eventually required me to make an extra visit to the garage to make a short check - something that could and should have been done at the service appointment.
The Customer Relationship Manager offered to meet me for reassurance when I brought the car in but did not and has not been in contact since.
I am enjoying my Mercedes but maintenance through a Mercedes dealer is not cheap and to justify the expense needs to be high quality. On my experience they did not not meet that mark in respect of customer service.
What a refreshing change. I have just started to use Mercedes Ipswich from having used Mercedes Bury St Edmunds garage for years, and couldn't take the incompetence any more. So, first service at Ipswich today, worlds apart from what I have had at Bury, tyres ordered in reediness, Bury couldn't get tyres for two weeks because their depot was in Northampton!! I offered to drive there to collect them) video showing the checks, two phone calls telling me what's been done and what needed to be done before collection, nice welcome, wasn't ignored even by passing showroom sales people, nice bright open showroom, and car cleaned nicely, not with dirty rags, hovered out, Bury would shake the floor mat into the footwell and place the clean mat over the top!! brushing under the rug! Thank you Eloise, its worth me traveling 40 minutes and I would urge other to do so.
From the moment of my first enquiry the responses from the Salesman were polite, timely, helpful and never pushy. The whole 'team' involved with the sale and handover of the car made the purchase an easy, smooth process.
Well done, and thank you Mercedes-Benz of Ipswich.
The dealership treated me as a individual human being. As always they found time to talk to me and not just about the car. I would recommend this dealership every time.
My wife purchased a GLC350 from Ipswich Mercedes in September. The Salesman, David and the business manager Neil were categorically told that we did not want any care plans or insurance policies. I even requested that a separate offer sheet was printed with the products removed before I agreed to the sale. Having picked up the car and had ownership of it for over 6 weeks. We had a policy document come through the door for Alloy Wheel Insurance and a leather care plan. We were so against these products and made this extremely clear. These products were taken out in our name FRAUDULENTLY. The value is just over £750 and we have now reported it to the police. We will be taking Mercedes to court and filing a full police report when we meet with the detective at our home. Absolutely Disgusting! STAY AWAY.
I was disappointed that following an annual service that the car was returned to me with a fault. This was a warning stating that active breaking assistance was not working. However this was corrected 2 weeks later as a software update had to be applied for this known fault. I was assured that the car was safe to drive during this time but was still a little concerned. It was corrected and it's all fine now
