Took car in for its Service B. Got a call later that day to pick the car up. I travelled 1hr 30min from London to Essex via Train and Taxi to arrive just before 6 pm (closing) only, to find out that the battery in the car was flat and the 'Serviced' car would not start, it was way after 6 pm. Being that it's a winter evening, and I have to find my way back to London, the Mercedes Staff guaranteed me that Mercedes would reimburse my taxi fare for failing to provide me with a functioning vehicle. I took Uber X which l don't typically use; I'm an Uber Exec Customer to get back home safely. By the way, Mercedes had prior knowledge of the issue with the battery as l had mentioned it over the phone when the car has been booked in for 'Service B' and also brought in the AA report. Furthermore, a rental car was arranged for me by Mercedes however; Mercedes has now refused to pay the bill to Enterprise, and as such, my debit card has been charged. I also had to deal with multiple called from Enterprise and to Mercedes while coping with the passing of my Father which l had mentioned to Mercedes. I'm currently out of pocket, and Mercedes has not contacted me or reimbursed me.
