This is a very good sealer for natural stone however care must be taken not to put to much on. If you are happy with the first coating then it is best to leave it. It says on the instructions to put on the first coat to saturation then re apply after it has dried. My mistake was that I put plenty on maybe too much but the patio looked great for a few months but then when it was dry it had a chalky looking haze about it so after a discussion with Smart Seal they sent me a small bottle of residue remover and after applying it to 3 of the Indian sandstone slabs and brushing it in then left it for 10 minutes and washed off the slabs looked like new again. So have ordered a gallon of the colour enhancer and a gallon of the residue remover so after treating with the residue remover allowing a couple of days for the patio to dry I shall apply just one good coating of the sealer and hope all is well. Smart Seal have excellent customer service and have helped me sending samples to get the patio looking like new.
