I cannot recommend Seniors Helping Seniors enough to anyone who wants peace of mind that their loved one has the visits and extra help that they need when you can't be there to provide it yourself. As my Mum's Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia really started to take a hold, and before she got to the stage when we had no alternative but to transition her into residential care, Seniors Helping Seniors gave her the extra time in her own home and facilitated that last bit of independence that she so desperately wanted to hold on to. As her only child and working full time, I wasn't able to call in and keep an eye on her as much as was needed, so that is where Glenda stepped in. She has become such a dear friend to Mum as well as helping with light household duties, doing the laundry, letting me know if she had any concerns and - most importantly - spending quality time with Mum and having fun. On top of this, I have had nothing but kindness and support from Mike & Cathy - the managers - throughout the (nearly) 2 years they have been helping my Mum.
