I was served by Kelsey, what I can say about her was that she was amazing. She delivered the absolute best customer service experience I have ever experienced, she was very polite, kind and very approachable. She was friendly and easy to talk to, where I was gobsmacked to recieve such service. I would definitely be coming back to Johnsons specifically to recieve service like this again from Kelsey herself. She is the many reasons why I’d come back again. Thankyou Kelsey, and you’ve done an amazing job in your role and also thankyou for the fantastic results on my North Face Puffer jacket which I thought was ruined but then rescued by you. Definitely recommend for the future and Kelsey reliability. Super happy and very satisfied. :)
Friendly staff, however upon collecting my item and coming home (stupidly) not opening it in store to check - i noticed there is a large black/blue stain on my suit which was most definitely not there before. Right at the bottom front of the suit - the pocket of the suit had never been opened and still has the store thread closing it up - thus it could not be a pen i left in the pocket as it is impossible for it to have been there.
They have ruined my suit and charged me £19 for the privilege.
Will NEVER use their services again, and a warning to any prospective customers - take photographs of your clothing before even thinking of getting them “cleaned”
Johnsons Dry Cleaners are a company owned by Timpson, who also has a location across the way from this store at Tesco, Johnstons mainly specialise in the dry cleaning side of the business.I've passed this store many times over the past few years, mainly due to its' central location, where most people will see it as they turn on their way to Rochdale from Middleton. From the main road, this store actually looks closed as the shutters always seem to be down, I'm going, to be honest, I always thought this was an abandoned building, however it is not and they seem to use the back entrance, the entrance is on the side facing the health centre and Tesco.Inside, it is pretty typical of a dry cleaners, it has a small area for customers to walk in, the rest is taken by the dry-cleaning business. In terms of being a MyHermes store, it is quite convenient and is one of the more convenient areas in the Sudden area of Rochdale. The woman who served me seemed quite friendly, she sorted my parcel out quite quickly, sadly the man had already been to collect the parcels prior to my arrival, which she had already informed me.I'm struggling with the rating, this is a nice place, decent dry-cleaners in the more convenient location than others being so close to Tesco, I also like the MyHermes feature, the service was okay but the overall feel that this place is an abandoned building as you pass it on the main road really does spoil it for me, also they seem to do all the dry cleaning themselves, rather than self-service which also would be nice to have the option, so i feel this place deserves a 3 star rating mainly for convenience through location with parking, friendly staff and the MyHermes parcel shop feature.
