I have been a customer of Johnson's since they first opened at Bishop's Park, Bishop's Stortford and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful and make sure you are aware of all the services they offer without being pushy. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.
I was staying in town with some relatives and popped a button off my Ermenegildo Zegna suit. I brought it on Saturday to have them sew it back on before my business trip and they told me the earliest they could have it done was Thursday. I thought it was odd to take that long to sew a button but since I would get it back Thursday afternoon before I left on Friday, I figured why not. When I arrived on Thursday evening, not only was it not done but they had lost the envelope that came with the suit containing all the extra buttons and fabric. Not just inconvenient for the future maintenance of my suit but an incredibly expensive loss. As this was last years collection which is no longer available, I will have to buy a brand new full set and have a tailor replace them all. As well as have to buy a brand new suit to be semi-presentable for my business meeting on Friday, and will not have time to tailor it to fit me properly. While I am lucky to have them refund my money, and give me the suit back in one piece, I am down some very expensive buttons, extra material for my suit and about 40Â£ in uber back and forth, not to mention the new blazer I have to buy. I am incredibly disappointed in the service and complete incompetence that they displayed. They would have to do something above and beyond to make me ever want to give them any business again.
