The oven clean itself went well and I was pleased with the result. Steve was efficient and did a good job. I then didn't use the oven again for around 10 days, as I went on holiday. It's first use after the oven clean tripped the electrics on the ground floor, after which it became clear that the element had blown. I contacted Steve, who called me back the same night. His response was that an element can blow at any time and was totally coincidental to the oven clean. This may well be true, however, he was not willing to acknowledge that it may not have been coincidental and may have been as a result of the oven clean. The net result, my £66 oven clean turned into a further £85 spend on replacing the element. Make of it what you will.
