The worst online shopping experience of my life has to be from dunelm. I ordered a corner sofa from them over a month ago. The delivery was scheduled for a particular time and day and I got an email the night before saying the delivery will be rescheduled for another day which was not a problem. I finally received the delivery but it was incomplete so I had to wait another three days for what I thought would be the complete and correct corner sofa that I ordered with one transaction. I then opened all of the packaging only to find that none of the parts of the sofa even fit because they sent me two identical parts and to top it off it wasn’t even the correct sofa or colour that I ordered. They claimed the sofa was out of stock yet it’s still been advertised on their website all throughout this disaster of an experience they’ve put me through. Everything about that order was wrong from top to bottom. They honestly don’t seem to know what they’re doing with this online service and now I’ve had to return the sofa due to their incompetence and I’m still waiting for my refund for almost 14days and thanks to dunelm I’m now In my new flat without a sofa or my money to purchase a sofa from a more reliable source. This has truly been a nightmare, dunelm you should be ashamed because of you I’ve lost faith in online shopping. Amazon and eBay are x10 more reliable and they don’t even specialise in furniture They’re reviews on their own website are also biased as they removed mine from it because it “didn’t meet their requirements” but the truth will always come to light and people will get to know how incompetent your ONLINE service really is whether you like it or not
