Alan Hawkins Royal Wootton Bassett Review by Nathan S, 2025-07-22T17:54:42
Towards the beginning of our tenancy 7 years ago we found that we had to push a bit for things to be done and was disappointed with certain issues with the property we moved into considering it was empty for almost a month prior to us moving in, though understand that this is on the landlord too. It was a shame when things needed replacing in the property they were swapped for lower spec models than had previously been there, but again understand this was more on the landlord. During one time when renewing our tenancy there was an attempt to have an admin fee charged which we had to state is against legislation. So this left a sense of the organisation being out to get our money. However, we found after a little bit of time that Alan Hawkins was easy to work with and we could feel at home in the rented property without feeling like being too much in someone else's property. Inspections were always dreaded and did feel like an invasion of space, but team members performing them were usually kind and reassuring. We feel like the best service was given towards the end of our tenancy and when the landlord decided to sell. Significant notice was given along with plenty of helpful advice. Ultimately we feel the service and team with Alan Hawkins improved over time from the experiences we have had. With the most recent experience we would recommend people to seek tenancy through Alan Hawkins or have them handle their rental properties.
