It’s safe to say that 2020 has definitely been an eventful year for all businesses. With restrictions changing every few weeks, many businesses were forced to adapt to remote working and some even had to pause services temporarily.
Despite all this, we think it’s important to celebrate and acknowledge the more positive occasions that we’ve all had this year, the most recent for us being the What’s on 4 Kids Activities Awards. This year was the 14th ceremony but due to COVID-19, the first time it had ever been held virtually!
What is the What’s on 4 Kids Awards?
What’s on 4 Kids is a membership scheme that provides parents and guardians activity suggestions for their child, based on their location and what they enjoy.
Because they work closely with so many kids clubs and the CAA (Children’s Activities Association), every year they hold an awards ceremony to recognise and reward the most loved and well performing businesses of that past year – lots of which are children’s activity businesses that we work with.

Nigel, our CEO and James (COO) both attended the virtual ceremony held on Zoom. Even though everything was online, What’s on 4 Kids still managed to make the event as interactive as possible by including entertainment features like a photo booth. The pictures taken were then put together to create a great image showing everyone who attended the event:
The winners of each award were also able to cast in live for their acceptance, which made the ceremony feel even more special.
Many of the businesses who received nominations, and many of those who won, were also clients of Trustist! A huge congratulations to everyone who received a nomination this year!
Trustist were also able to sponsor the award Remarkable Achievement Award, which was a brand new category introduced this year! The award was won by Lucy Crabtree at babyballet, who has done some absolutely incredible work in the Children’s Activities sector.
Highly Commended Game-Changing Supplier
For our involvement in helping clients in the Children’s Activities sector, Trustist were also nominated for an award in the category of Game-Changing Supplier! We were lucky enough to be awarded Highly Commended, and we can’t wait to continue with our work in this sector!
