Absolute joke !!! Brand new trousers with the tag still on RUINED , I only wanted the hem taken up by 2 inches and they have ruined them . Glued them up so nothing can be done with them as the fabric is to fragile to pull apart ( had a professional look at them) then overlocked them and they are now puckered . one leg longer than the other and stained . No apology at all which actually would have gone a long way . No time to have them redone as need them ASAP . Had them for a full week so the job should have been done correctly . ABSOLUTE MESS !! Waiting for a call from head office as I will be reimbursed for the trousers .

What customer wants to hear the woes of the staff in a customer service based business? I know all about 'the company' cutting hours and closing shops now. Am not unsympathetic but really? Also recent experience of coming up against 'policy' that is not customer friendly has made a previously good business rather negative. Shame.
Brought some very expensive bedding sheets and few other items to be dry cleaned only to return to collect my items and find they had somehow lost or they said misplaced the item .
These shops are going under I suggest you find another dry cleaners.
Disgraceful. I took in a pair of tea stained curtains which I pointed out and they said that's fine. I returned the following day to pick them up nothing was said. I got home to discover that the stain was still very visible as if they hadn't been washed. I returned the following day at 0830 because according to the website that's what time they open. I am still sat in my car at 0900.

We had our jackets stolen from a Sunlite branch around August time. It was arranged for us to put in a claim. Received the news that we were getting our money back via Sunlites insurnace company and to give our bank details and it would be in our account within one week. 5 weeks later no money,no response to our numerous phone calls. No reply to our email which we sent direct to the Director of Sunlite. Completely ignored. We should have to chase Sunlite to get back what is ours. I wrote this review on Sunlites Facebook page yesterday, hoping it would trigger some kind of response from Sunlite, but they have deleted thier facebook page and all posts. So I guess I wont be getting a response
Took my sofa covers and cushion covers to be washed as couldn't fit them in my machine. Was told they would be ready in 4 days and wanted to charge me Â£88. Was told they would hace to go another shop. Got a voice mail later in the week saying the cushion covers were not done as they couldnot be tumble dried abd they had nowhere to hang them!! Really? Went to pick them up the following saturday to find nothing had been done to any of them and when the unapologetic lady phoned the other store she was told they hadn't even received them. Wasted two saturday mornings. No clean products and the woman at the shop couldn't even bring herself to apologise. Even asked her if it was policy to not apologise for poor service abd she just stated at me blankly. Will never use Sunlight again!!!! And neither should you. At least not this store.
I dropped curtains off at swalwell branch and was told they could not give me a price but would phone me later that day with a one FOUR days later they finally phone me with a price £50 which I said ok to. Then two hours later Stacey the manager of there Lowfell branch phones and tells me that the price is now £100!! When I complained to her about doubling the price she told me not to speak to her in a raised voice I did not shout at her but was obviously annoyed. So now they still have my curtains and we have guests coming to our new house and my wife is upset she wanted the house to look just right lesson in this go to Johnson’s
Took some white jeans in with dark dried in stains on them ans they came out beatifully. However a stone coloured suit with 2 very light stains didn't get touched. This was the most important item of clothing as it's for a wedding this weekend with two very transparent beer stains smaller than half the size of a 5 pence piece. Rang to query this and apparently the tried twice but couldn't get it off however the jeans are gleaming and again were way worse off as they were stained with sweat and dust from wearing them on stage. I don't think that they were honest and because the suit looked clean at a glance they haven't bothered to clean it and took the money anyway
Took a suit and a dress into Keighley, told it would be 2 days, went back 2 days later and the dress and jacket was there but trousers missing. Told would be back the next day. The girl told me that because she only worked afternoons that she would have to leave a note for the other staff to call me when they were back. She didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing, not a good advert for a Cleaners cos she was sat in bare feet and a dirty t-shirt. Will use Timpsons in future.
Had a suit cleaned. It had a few moss stains on back of trousers . Put it in on Monday informed staff of stains, was told it would be ready for Wednesday, which it wasn't. Went back Friday only to find the stains were still there and double creases on trousers. Very disappointed and won't be going back there.
