As an U11 team coach myself, I find that the limited training time our team has focusses on game play, formation, roles etc. What Striker academy does brilliantly is to zoom in on specific skills - turns, volleys, striking etc bringing them into a match at the end of each session. The coaches consider body positioning, angles, speed etc, and explain why in terms the kids understand. For my lad, the training at SA compliments what he does at our team training really well. And crucially, because much of the activity is focussed on the individual, it caters to all abilities. Friendly and approachable coaches. Highly recommend.
