Having experienced the distress of a (contained) fire in our dining room (13 says before Christmas!!) and the ensuing smoke damage which was far worse than the fire, we needed to get our chenille curtains dry-cleaned. Knowing that Johnsons closed at 7pm on a Saturday, we arrived in plenty of time (having spent all day trying to rid the house of the terrible acrid smell of smoke)at just after 6pm (!!). Oops, you close at 6pm on a Saturday !! Nightmare! We needed to have another full day of cleaning if we had any chance of 'rescuing' Christmas. Andy, was just cashing-up and seeing the distress on our faces, took kindly on us and 'opened up', this meant that he delayed his departure from work even though it was his works 'do'. Andy's kindness meant that we didn't waste time on the Sunday returning to the store, which, would have 'cost' us a valuable one hour (round-trip). So, our big thanks to Andy for the kindness and compassion that he showed us. Thank you :) Kind regards Lynn
