Dive And Cruise Thailand Liveaboard - Manta Queen 1 Review by Anas D, 2017-12-07T11:12:33

Manta Queen 3 (MQ3) Nice boat, big boat, well maintain boat, equip with all the facilities (O2, first aid, life jacket etc) BUT:- 1. When i was in MQ3, its stated for 31 guest (diver or non diver excl crew). It was 32 guest in the boat. Its overloaded. Yaa just 1 extra but its effected when to chill at dining area for meals time. 3 times for me to wait someone finish their meal for me to get seat to have my meal. 2. Meals for me and some other guest and crew not really good. 2 times when after the last dive, just 5 minutes late for the dinner time, i only have fruits for my dinner. Maybe because of the overloaded guest in the boat. 3. For me when im in the boat, with that kind of water condition (white cap everywhere and very strong wind), you should change your dive site to the site that covered from wind. So we can go easy dive. As a diver, we understand about changing a divesite in last minutes due to bad weather. We dont mind to have same divesite (like a 1 dive site for 3 dives at Rachellieu Rock). As a cruise director, Mr Joe can say NO GO for the dive site due to bad sea condition coz got a very new diver onboard. Some divers onboard is very experience diver and they just low profile and we talked about this issue. Dont think all diver is already pro level. Yes you have a good dive crew to take care all the divers. Your plan is seperate all the divers in small group is excellent. But thing can happend easily. Better avoid it before its happend. All divers go for holiday for fun, not for struggeling with that type of condition. You have a right to say No Go to the very choppy divesite. Dive crew, dive guide, boat crew, you all did a very good job. Very professional, very friendly and keep try to show us something underwater. Anyway, i enjoy the trip with evry morning all the crew shout for wakey wakey wakey morning.
