Dive And Cruise Palau Liveaboard - Ocean Hunter 1 Review by Natasha, 2017-10-03T05:49:10

My boyfriend and I were in Palau in August and we dove with Fish 'n Fins for 6 days, and I can say that this was the best diving I have ever experienced. The dive sites were so beautiful and the coral and marine like was abundant - I had only been diving in very touristy spots so to be in such a beautiful place where people care so much about the ocean was really refreshing. That brings me to the amazing dive shop, staff and guides we had. All the guides were so knowledgable and you could tell they cared so much for the ocean. The shark conservation work done as Fish 'n Fins is also a huge bonus, especially when you are seeing so many sharks each dive. A huge push for me when booking with a shop is the quality of the guides and overall safety. I have had some scary experiences in the past but I never felt that with this shop. I really felt like the guides were always watching us and even just how they checked our equipment and responded if we had questions. I was probably asking more questions because I did my Nitrox training while I was there. The boats were fast and covered, so you weren't constantly in the sun, and they had some storage for personal items, and we had bought dry bags as well. The dive shop owners, Navot and Tova are always around the shop as well. It is nice to see how involved management is with running the shop and how personable they were. When we went kayaking for one of our days there, they gave us tips on the best spots to see, and we also went skydiving which i HIGHLY recommend. It was UNREAL! Ahhh Palau is just a divers paradise, next time I go back I will have to do one of the live-aboard boats.
