Seems to be dishonest. I'm so disappointed and rather shocked. We booked the agency on the basis that we needed a cleaner x3 hours a week on a Friday or Thursday. We simply wanted someone who was reliable, honest and a decent cleaner. Caroline visited and we signed up on the spot, giving an upfront fee of £115.05 on 27th February on the basis that a cleaner was a) available and b) could start within 2 weeks. She was completely confident on this point and offered an immediate start if we wanted (we didn't). During those 2 weeks we were given the number of 2 potential cleaners. Both were friendly, polite and unavailable. At this point I politely cancelled the service. I have followed up repeatedly - and courteously - to request a refund over 3 months. This has mostly been ignored or responded with a 'we'll look into it'. Fortunately I have full records and will looking into how I can get money back.
