Unfortunately not my best experience at VW. Year ago visited the showroom to test drive a vehicle and was perfectly fine. Went back to the showroom and was advised no-one was available (physically not in) from the sales team to proceed with my order!!!. One that basis, I proceeded to visit BMW instead. A year on and my wife desired a VW for her first car. This time the sales process was well and felt looked after. The real fun started with their after sales support and service team. Vehicle had multiple issues with needed to be rectified. Was advised this would not be covered under warranty. A brand new car which is only a few months old! Was spoken to rudely by various staff. Waited hours on end for a call back via phone. No updates were given. Once the issues were rectified from a lot of back and forth conversations, the vehicle was repaired. Upon collection I had noticed the vehicle had scuff on the alloy wheel, bearing in mind I had checked for any damage prior to giving the vehicle in. I also then noticed sidewall damage! Cannot be bothered to deal with all the issues, will either end up rejecting the car or not purchasing another VW again. Back to BMW I suppose!
Worst service ever, lack of communication, they can't even tell you about work carried out they 'forget' conversations say they don't have your number then miraculously find it, didn't do work first time round, picked up van didn't make it out of car park as warning light still on and had to rebook...... nothing good to say
Avoid! Seriously ill mannered staff, no respect for customers and only interested in taking your cash.
Managed to get the day off work to do an MOT for my MK5 golf. Got to the branch and was told Iâ€™d have to pay Â£279 ontop of the quote. When I challenged the sales rep he talked so much nonsense assuming I didnâ€™t know what he was on about. Asked to speak to the manager who was abrupt and in my opinion racist. Will definitely not be going back to VW anymore. Whatâ€™s the point. Good for nothing, money scrounging scums.
Good choice of nearly new vehicles, T Rock, GTE and E Golf missing from the show room.

Inefficient is being polite. Agreed repairs. Told parts were in stock. Phoned for an update 36 hours later to be told parts on order. Vehicle has been there for four days and still waiting for an update as to whether it is ready or not. Have emailed. No response. Tried to call and it just rings. Will use Alan Day next time. Best avoided.
Jamaal was excellent... He approached us when our car was in for its service and at the time we were not considering trading in our car for a new one. After listening to our requirements and a bit of research, Jamaal was able to find us multiple options that allowed us to end our current finance deal 12 months early and upgrade to a brand new polo. The whole experience took less than 2 weeks from initial call to me driving away a new car. Very happy customer, I will definitely be recommending VW and Jamaal .
Really good service, car needed parts and they were ordered no question due to car being under warranty. Needed car back for a driving holiday and I had it back in good time. Highly recommend!
