I visited to get an engine management light fix on an Q5 that was just out of warranty. I had a rough idea of the price having been quoted £141 at Audi Huddersfield. I was amazed when they rang later to advise the work would cost >£800!!! When drilling down I found that £540 was for 3 hours labour..... £180 per hour for labour? (£150 + VAT). Are you serious? I only pay £130 at Aston Martin, and £110 at BMW. What's worse is I bought the part from Audi Manchester and took it to a local non Audi garage who fitted it in 20 minutes.... It's a con... the good news is I have now sold the Q5. the bad news is that I really liked the car, but will not tolerate a succession of poor and overpriced service from below par dealerships. I of course share this story with as many people as I can!!
